Monday: Krikey Launches Augmented Reality Based Game ‘Yaatra’ In Partnership With Jio
Augmented Reality gaming company Krikey, has recently launched a new AR game in India, named, YAATRA, in collaboration with Jio. Jio led the Series A funding round, taking the total raised by Krikey to $22 Million.
The YAATRA game utilises the smartphone camera, players can be a part of the action-adventure story and join the quest to defeat the army of monsters. Armed with a bow and arrow, fire and lightning bolts as well as chakra, players can battle through the different levels of combat and challenging puzzle games. One the player has successfully completed all the levels, they can share a personalised video with their friends.
A digital training ground has been made so that players are able to perfect their bow and arrow skills before taking on the monster army. Video feeds are also available so players can watch gameplay videos posted by other players.

Tuesday: The Good Crisp Company Spreads Holiday Cheer With A Message From Santa On Each Can
The Good Crisp Company, a new and better-for-you take on the classic canister chip, has launched a web based augmented reality feature on its packaging that will turn The Good Crisp Company canisters into a holiday-inspired winter wonderland, complete with Santa.
As this holiday season may look a bit different from years past, with fewer gatherings and less travel, the brand decided to bring more cheer to families and kids using just one simple motion. For a limited time, and with no special app needed, The Good Crisp Company packaging will transform its canister into animated visions of winter warmth, swirling snow, and even a selfie with Santa. And, it's the very first snack brand to bring this new form of curved-image AR to consumer packaged goods.

Wednesday: HBO Create Augmented Reality Campaign For The Second Series Of 'His Dark Materials'
HBO has recently collaborated with Verizon Media on a campaign to engage consumers and promote the second season of the fantasy series, ‘His Dark Materials’, which launched November 16 by utilising Augmented Reality advertising to reach a wider audience and create an immersive experience for consumers.
The campaign was an innovative way to engage with consumers with content and experiences inspired by the show.
Viewers were able to scan a QR code with their smartphone devices which revealed an Augmented Reality advertisement, displaying a 3D version of a daemon, an animal-like manifestation of a person’s soul from the series.
HBO’s Augmented Reality app, encourages users to take care of their personalised daemons by participating in a series of wellness activities. Users can tell their daemons how they feel and get helpful tips and information on those activities, while progressing through an in-app journey game.

Thursday: Northampton Borough Council Launch Augmented Reality App
The Northampton Borough Council has launched an augmented reality app for residents, which allows them to explore their town through an interactive and immersive experience.
The app, called ‘Explore Northampton’ contains two augmented reality experiences, ‘Discover Christmas’ and ‘A Walk in the Past’.
The ‘Walk in the Past’ Augmented Reality experience takes residents on a journey through Northampton’s history. Users will see notableNorthamptonshire personalities of the past come to life and tell the story of how they impacted the county. Local history enthusiasts can meet a number of personalities, including
The ‘Discover Christmas’ Augmented Reality experience offers an immersive trail for children. Users can travel around the town centre and help Father Christmas collect festive items in time for Christmas Day. On the trail, the user will be able to see and collect items including Christmas trees, elves, reindeers and presents through Augmented Reality technology.

Friday: NYX Professional Makeup Launches Augmented Reality Beauty Store
NYX Professional Makeup has launched a multi-platform marketing campaign to promote the release of their Spring 2021 product collection, which features an augmented reality pop-up shop and a virtual concert by singer-songwriter Bebe Rexha. The AR store is powered by Snapchat, allowing consumers to dive into a fully immersive augmented reality shopping experience within the Triller app, including a virtual try-on and games to play.
There are a number of access points where users can enter the AR store, there is a custom branded Snapchat Lens in the Snapchat Lens carousel or in the Triller app, users can scan a Snapcode in Snapchat or alternatively, use Snapchat to scan NYX Professional Makeup's Marsh Mellow Smoothing Primer, part of the brand's Spring 2021 collection.
