The Auggie Award Competition is an initiative of AugmentedReality.org, the producer of AWE (Augmented World Expo). The goal of the Competition is to promote excellence in XR (Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and Mixed Reality) on various platforms and categories. The Competition is intended to bring the best in the augmented World to the public, and to provide recognition to contestants who develop technology and solutions that demonstrate how to make the world a more interactive place and make our lives and work more engaging, productive, and fun.
Winners will be presented with a prestigious Auggie Award at the Auggie Awards Ceremony, taking place this year on November 10th at the AWE USA 2021 event in Santa Clara, California.

[nofollow]Velicus - CPR+
[nofollow]Velicus created a certified CPR training for the Microsoft HoloLens2. Together with Dutch certifier Het Oranje Kruis we developed a Mixed Reality application to teach people how to perform CPR. This training is given by the HoloLens 2, our software and a CPR manikin with sensors and a bluetooth connection. The company created this application to learn and practice CPR where, whenever and as often as you want. Learning and practicing CPR gets more accessible. Even more important is that innovative products like this can change the dull image first aid training has. Thereby making it more interesting for all students.
